Couple looking for a solid stay
We had this amazing river view room on the 18th floor. Literally watched the city come alive through the window while sipping coffee.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but honestly worth it for the experience.

Do recommend for a stopover
Comfortable stay, great location, with friendly staff who helped with luggage storage and guided us to a delicious breakfast nearby, and it’s just a 5-minute walk to the State/Lake station.
Liked everything.

Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed the stunning views from our King City View room and loved being close to popular spots like Navy Pier and the Art Institute. The beds were super comfy, and everything was clean. Definitely would recommend.
One annoying thing was the motion-activated bathroom lights. They kept shutting off while we were in the shower, which was kind of inconvenient.

It was a great match for getting around Chicago with high value for money. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. Be ready for long waits during valet parking.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk away from the river and a quick jaunt to the Magnificent Mile for shopping. The Deluxe King City View room offered stunning views and was spacious, making my stay comfortable. However, the noise from the street was disruptive, particularly at night, making it a challenge to get restful sleep. Overall, my experience was quite good, but a few adjustments could make it better.

missingWrote a review on Jun 17river viewsdowntown locationslow elevators
Stunning river views from higher floors provide an impressive backdrop that emphasizes the vibrant energy of the city. The strategic downtown location allows easy access to the Chicago Riverwalk, with several attractions just a comfortable stroll away.
Unfortunately, our stay was marred by some frustrating experiences, starting with check-in. Although our room was ready, we were informed that accessing it an hour early would incur a charge, which felt unnecessary given we only arrived shortly before the official check-in time. The elevators often lagged, creating unwelcome delays, particularly during busy mornings. Additionally, the dining experience at Hoyt's left something to be desired, with confusing service that seemed to prioritize other guests over our table. There were also instances of room maintenance that could be viewed as lacking, such as stained towels and incomplete housekeeping. These issues detracted from what could have been a more relaxing experience.

Just spent three nights in a spacious room with stunning views of the river. The mattress was excellent, providing a comfortable night's sleep, and the location allowed easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful during my stay. However, the TV placement made it awkward to watch from the sofa, and there were no microwaves available, which was surprising.
